and explain why you think this is an interesting tradition
I like the Dragon Boat Festival in China, which is an old tradition that last for thousands of years throughout Chinese history. Here are some featured activities to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival. For example, dragon-boat racing and eating Zongzi. When I was very young, I was told that the tradition is in memory of the famous ancient patriotic poet Qu Yuan who lived in Chu Dynasty. It is said that Qu Yuan drowned himself in a river to prove his innocence and his loyalty to his country. Later people threw Zongzi into the river to keep the fish from eating his corpse. The story actually has many versions, however. But it is indeed passed down from generation to generation, mainly by your teachers or your parents. Besides, dragon-boat racing is also very interesting and exciting. How grand the boat racing is when you see so many dragon-shaped boats are flying on the river!
I like the old tradition of Dragon Boat Festival because our country thinks more highly of our traditional festivals and traditions. On Dragon Boat Festival, we could have a day off! Exciting, right? Well, on the other hand, Dragon Boat Festival marks the real start of burning summer. I like summer best since I can see so many beautiful girls wearing charming dresses on the street. A special sightseeing only in summer, right? Moreover, I can have my favorite watermelon and everything seems vivifying without any efforts. Therefore, I think the tradition of Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting.

You should say:
what the book was about;
why you read it in the first place;
what you learned from the book;
and explain why you would like to read it again.
Well, I think the book I want to read again is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. It was my favorite book. I first read the book when I was in middle school. A friend of mine bought it from the bookstore and she strongly recommended me to read it. At first I was not very interested because she said it was a book about magic and I thought magic means nonsense. However, when I finally picked up the book, I found that I could not put it down anymore. I was greatly attracted by the book. The book was the first one of the Harry Potter series. It talked about how Harry found out he was admitted by a magic school named by Hogwarts. He met his best friends on the train to the school. They had quite an adventure in the school. The plot of the book was very interesting and I kept wondering what happened next.
The reason I want to read the book again is because I am under great pressure these days and I think the book can make me relax. Many years have passed and the actors and actresses who played the role in the book have all grown up. But I can always meet the young Harry in the book. I believe it will be fun.
3.Describe a kind of foreign food you tried.
You should say:
what it was;
when and where you had it;
why you had it;
and explain how you felt about it.
Spaghetti and Sushi are two kinds of foreign food I like best. But I prefer Sushi more because making Sushi is easier than Spaghetti. Sushi comes from Japan. They could be made as snacks as well as formal dishes. It tastes fresh and delicious. The fragrance of the rice could arouse the unique taste of the fish along with it. Sushi enjoys great popularity in my country. Well, as you know, China is not very far from Japan. You could see a diversity of Sushi restaurants in many shopping malls. And Chinese even developed many ways to process Sushi in order to localize their tastes to Chinese people. And more and more other Japanese foods are introduced along with Sushi.
I like Sushi because it was a kind of approachable cuisine. Many top-notch delicious foods are also on the pyramid’s top and ordinary people could not have any access to them either they need valuable food ingredients or they are too difficult to make. So, you see, Sushi cost little and its ingredients are easy to get. Besides that, Sushi could make you taste several food ingredients at the same time. You even could create your favorite taste as long as you are creative and daring enough. For a foodie like me, it was so amazing to make so many tries.

You should say:
what kind of weather it is;

I like the sunny days in late spring and early autumn. I don’t like sunny days in summer or winter because in summer, it is usually too hot and in winter, the sun still could not compensate for the cold. So it is perfect to have a sunny day in the late spring and early autumn when the temperature will not be too low or too high. Usually I will go outdoors in such weather. The landscape is quite agreeable. There are many different kinds of plants and flowers flourishing along the roadsides. It is delightful to walk on the road to enjoy the beautiful sights. Besides that, I can do all kinds of sports in those sunny days. I can play badminton or tennis, go hiking, jogging or running. I don’t need to wear too many clothes or be afraid of get sunburned, so it’s convenient and cool to do whatever I want. Sometimes I just don’t want to do any work in sunny days, so I will grab a book or some snacks, find myself a seat in the garden and stay there all day.
Weather can greatly affect my mood. I feel energetic and optimistic during these sunny days in the two seasons. It’s just like that the sun has provided me with great energy. I feel confident that everything is under control and everything is hopeful. I’m ready to take challenges and offer help when others need me. But in rainy days, I often feel depressed and gloomy. Apart from that, they are the best days of the year when you could set up a plan and get started about your ambition. For the burning summer and cold winter waiting ahead, you could prepare more to experience the so-called tough time, right? They are full of opportunities.
