Describe a person who often travels by plane
You should say:
Who he or she is
Where he or she goes
Why he or she travels by plane
And how he or she feels about it
If you ask me to give you an account of a person who often travels by plane, Mr. Zhou is definitely the first person that comes to my mind.
Mr. Zhou is one of my neighbors, who was a pretty famous musician before retired, flying among some big cities to conduct(指挥) concerts of all sizes. Upon retirement, he devoted most of his time into voluntary works. For examples, he until now is often invited to campus to deliver his speech on either orientations or graduation ceremonies. So, he usually travels by plane. Besides, he gives free singing lessons for adults on Saturday nights in our community center. And I actually got to know him because of this. When I first moved to this community, I was up to my ears(忙得不可开交)in work and love without a bit of me-time. One day, my roommate told me about Mr. Zhou's singing lesson. He said: "I've signed us up(报名) for the class for this Saturday. It'll be great fun!" That Saturday, he taught us You Raise Me Up. Mr. Zhou had an innate talent for teaching. Under his instruction, we sang with passion and grace. The beautiful chorus moved me to tears. I have since been looking forward to Saturday nights because I know Mr. Zhou will be there, saving us from the hustle and bustle(忙碌)of everyday life with a new song.
Not everyone can live a life of traveling by air all the time, because it means that you have to sacrifice you time spent with family and friends. I admire him for devoting so much time on what he is keen on, and for devoting his free time to something that benefits others more than himself, sometimes without charging even a penny(不收一分钱).
