Describe something you bought that it is difficult to use at first
You should say:
What it was

Why it was difficult to use
How you used it successfully
And explain how you felt about it
My smart cleaning robot is definitely the first thing that comes to mind. I bought this cleaning robot online last October. At that moment, I was pretty into shopping on Taobao, the Chinese counterpart(对应的事物) of eBay. I can easily place an order(下单), get what I want within a few days, usually at a much lower price than in a physical store. Even if sometimes I'm not satisfied with what I got, I only have to send it back and get a refund, since most online stores offer 7-day hassle-free product returns and refunds service to their customers.
Once I was browsing on Taobao, a piece of advertisement caught my eyes. According to the advertisement, this robot, compared with ordinary vacuum cleaner(吸尘器), makes life much easier: it would leave your apartment spotless(一尘不染)while you just sit around, watch TV and sip coffee. It was advertised as a piece of magical new device, that could clean up your house by itself. So, I clicked the purchase button and bought it without a second thought(不假思索). I was so eager for it that I unpacked it as soon as I received it, only to find that this smart cleaning robot was nothing “smart” at all. After I turned it on, I found it kept getting stuck. Every time came up against a block, be it nightstand or table leg, it just kept moving forward without any turning, even though it couldn’t move at all. So, I had to get up to help it unstuck.
But later, I thought that the robot was not smart, but I could be smart. So, I blocked all the gaps underneath my bed and my sofa. I think it works perfectly now. whenever I want to vacuum my house, I just turn it on and let it clean the house by itself.
