1. How do technology help on the relationship between people?
Ah, it certainly helps a great deal, I would say. The world revolves around technology nowadays, doesn’t it? How many people become friends and even lovers because of the Internet? Too many, I suppose. Without the technology, a lot of people wouldn’t even know each other’s existence in the first place, let alone building a relationship, right? Also, it offers great means to maintain the relationship. Like when we travel overseas, we could video chat with family or friends. So even we don’t see each other in real life, we know what’s been going on with the other person.
2. Do you have many friends in your community?
Not too many. I hang out with a few people my age in my neighborhood, and mainly because we went to the same schools while we were growing up. You know, when you live only so close to each other, you get a lot of chances to see each other and it’s more likely that you will develop to be good friends. Well, at least that’s what’s it’s like for me and my fellows in the neighborhood. We often go shopping together, and sometimes we would organize group activities like hiking in the woods or joining a bike race.
3. Do people feel safe in China?
Absolutely! Doesn’t the media say that China is one of the safest countries in the world? Well, the media got it right! We have policemen almost at every corner in the cities and you will find security people standing at every gate of a community. The system makes sure we live in a safe environment. And apart from that, I think it’s also due to Chinese’s people’s personality. Most Chinese people like to stay out of trouble. They would avoid conflicts with other people if they could. But here I’m talking about the sober people, not the those with drinking problems.
