In China, a successful businessman must be a hardworking man. He should be habitual to work for a longer time to develop and look after his business. If he is not hard working and is a lazy person he cannot complete the other and he will have to suffer losses. Also, he must be a cool minded person and should talk to his subordinates, colleagues, and customer politely. Moreover, it's crucial to study the political landscape of the area where he will be operating.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the family business?
In my opinion, the biggest advantage of running a family business is the fact that family members go along well with each other. Also, the organizational structure is simple and effective. Most family businesses have a relatively simple hierarchy and management structure. This means they can deal with problems quickly and react more rapidly to changing market conditions. The disadvantage is that in a family business, there is a risk that family interests would be mixed with the corporate interest. Misunderstandings at home could also be brought to the office and the family expenses could be deducted from the business.
3. Do people in your country like to work for big companies or small companies?
In China, most people prefer big companies. When you enter a large company, you're taking part in a machine that's been around for a long time. As such, there is typically an established way of doing things. As soon as you walk in, you will know what your job is, how you fit into your department and over time you'll even learn the obvious pathways for promotions. Moreover, a big company can provide the employees with more benefits. Larger companies, in general, are better about providing benefits like health insurance or retirement plans. The smaller a corporation's revenue is, the less likely it can afford to pay for benefits.
4. Do you think globalization is a positive development?
Yes, I think so. Due to increased globalization in developed countries, there is more scope for developing countries to benefit from it. This way they can lead themselves towards economic success and ultimately achieve a better standard of living as well. Secondly, all developing countries can benefit from the already existing technologies without the need to undergo the stress of developing any particular technology. What’s more thanks to the reach and influence of media these days, increased media coverage helps in drawing attention towards those parts of the world where human rights are violated for the benefit of the rich and powerful. This leads to an improvement in human rights.
